Prison Fellowship Ghana (PFG) is a Christian ministry committed to the transformation, rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families and other vulnerable persons affected by crime and incarceration.
Established in 1985 and affiliated with Prison Fellowship International, our ministry spans evangelism, counselling, legal aid, family welfare, rehabilitation, reintegration and volunteer-driven prison outreach. Today we are strengthening our volunteer base, expanding prison coverage and building our institutional systems for greater impact.

The Executive Director Mr. Emmanuel Kwafo Offei with Charles "Chuck" Colson the Founder of Prison Fellowship International whom he met during the 2007 Prison Fellowship International Quadrennial Convocation held in Toronto, Canada. They became friends thereafter until the demise of Chuck in 2012.
Prison Fellowship Ghana is founded, joining a growing global movement of prison ministry.
Evangelism, counselling and discipleship expand across Ghana's correctional facilities.
A dedicated volunteer base carries the ministry deeper into prisons and communities.

PFI's national ministries are independent, indigenous and autonomous Christian ministries operating within a global network. Prison Fellowship Ghana is a distinct Ghanaian ministry organisation, not the same legal entity as PFI, proudly serving as part of the worldwide fellowship.
